OUR INITIATIVES
At Beulah Mission Center (Beulah), we work by amplifying the voices of women who are often overlooked in our communities. Through collaboration and partnership, we address both the immediate and deeper-rooted needs of women in Tulsa, Oklahoma and in Kenya. Our initiatives create a safe space for belonging (“BELONG”) where women experience genuine care and support during life’s challenges; we provide pastoral care and counselling to help them embrace their identity and healing (“EMBRACE”). Through our “TRANSFORM” pathway, we nurture the development of women’s unique gifts and skills and encourage them to pass on the burden of transformation by giving back to their families and communities. In practice, this means we partner with community-based organisations to provide trauma-informed support, equip women with vocational or life-skills training, and build networks of women who support each other. Our goal is not just relief but empowerment: women discovering their value, developing their talents, and contributing to stronger, healthier communities.
Jabari Mission
Jabari Mission exists to uplift families of children with special needs through compassion, understanding, and inclusion. We equip caregivers with tools to support their children’s emotional and developmental needs, while advocating for every child’s voice to be heard and valued. By educating communities, we shift perceptions—recognizing the unique strengths of every child and creating spaces where they are not only accepted, but celebrated.
Talking Hands, Listening Eyes (THLEP)
We are proud to partner with Talking Hands, Listening Eyes (THLEP), founded by Judy Kihumba, to support Deaf mothers in Kenya facing postpartum depression and other mental health challenges. In collaboration with Beulah Mission Foundation Center, Judy helps lead our mission efforts in the region. Since 2020, THLEP has empowered over 30 women through advocacy, mental health support, and skill development—ensuring every woman feels seen, heard, and valued.
